Come Find Me, set to a festive and moving score, tells the story of young Ben Patterson, who finds the holiday season both joyful and challenging. When his widowed father is deployed on a top-secret mission just before the holidays, Ben embarks on an unexpected quest to bring his dad—and Christmas—home. Told through the lens of a child on the spectrum, we learn the importance of living authentically, feeling passionately, and holding an unwavering hope in the magic of Christmas.
On November 9, 2020, Come Find Me held an internal Zoom reading with Broadway’s Jacob Keith Watson, Richard H. Blake, Amanda Jane Cooper, Major Attaway, Jaden Waldman and others.
“I identify as a first-act Scrooge and typically don’t like Christmas, but Come Find Me pulled me out of my usual bitter feelings and helped me see the holiday in a new light. With a perfect mix of head, heart and humor, Come Find Me is a brave and kindhearted new musical unlike anything you’ve ever seen on stage during the holidays, until now.”
ILANA RANSOM TOEPLITZ, Director (Violet, The Prom)
“The new musical Come Find Me has so much heart. I was drawn in by the story and delighted by the surprises. It’s a fresh approach to the holiday season, with memorable tunes to keep spirits bright.”

When our son was young, he had a friend with autism who always charmed us by his wide-eyed enthusiasm and the authentic way in which he lived. When creating our show, we wanted to use the authenticity of a child on the spectrum as a window into the magical, yet emotionally charged world of the holidays.
It is our hope, through Come Find Me – A Christmas Musical, that those both inside and outside the circle of autism realize that when we let others see our pain, they can help us heal.
